You can view all available work below. Each lot has a starting bid. (However if you really don’t want to get involved in a bidding war then there is a purchase price option!)
To place your bid email me at martin.grover@hotmail.co.uk with the record name/artist and your offer. An update on the latest bids will be posted on the Auction page every few days…… The Auction closes at 8pm on Monday 15th July.
As in any auction, feel free to bid as many times as you wish.
In the event of two bids for the same piece at the same price then the first logged bid will secure the work.

Choose your favourite song and artist:- I have a number of paintings that have no artist or song title, this is so you can nominate a relevant artist and song to fit the label and I will fill in the missing details……

These record portraits have all been painted from life over the last couple of years.

Martin Grover’s Record Painting Auction 2024 - Film 1 of 3. More films at the bottom of the page.

There are 29 paintings in the auction; all detailed and illustrated below. All are acrylic on canvas and nearly all of them are framed.
Sizes are detailed next to each work. Overall they split into four sizes (although there are a couple not quite the size stated in the section).
Section 1
The first 12 measure 43cm x 43cm.
Section 2
The second 3 measure 54cm x 54cm.
Section 3
The third 3 measure 68cm x 68cm and 80cm x 80cm.
Section 4
The last 11 works measure 100cm x 100cm with a couple slightly larger at 105cm x 105cm and one smaller at 90cm x 90cm.

Bidding cannot go higher than the normal value of the work. Once the bidding reaches this figure, the painting is in effect sold to that bidder. Please see each section for that figure.
